Using Kindred
These terms apply to the Kindred animal-care app provided by Pixel Crow Studios (Pty) Ltd. By using Kindred, you agree to these terms and the applicable Apple or Google store terms. Use the app only if you are an adult authorised to manage the account and care records. Contact info@pixelcrowstudios.net with questions.
Care guidance and enclosure planning
AI agents provide general information and can make mistakes. They are not licensed veterinarians, do not diagnose disease from photos and do not prescribe treatment. Contact a real veterinarian for medical concerns and urgent care. Reminders depend on device permissions and settings; they are not a guarantee of delivery. Enclosure views and cut sheets are planning aids. A qualified fabricator must verify dimensions, material grade, strength, ventilation, hardware, waterproofing and suitability before construction or use.
Accounts and your content
Keep access to your Apple or Google account secure. Provide accurate information and only upload material you are entitled to use. You retain ownership of your content and allow us and the relevant service providers to process it to deliver the functions you request. Avoid uploading unnecessary personal data, unlawful material or content that harms people or animals. Do not misuse the service, bypass limits or attempt unauthorised access.
Free, Starter and Pro
Free includes one animal profile, AI Vet and one AI question per day. Starter includes up to five animal profiles, all AI agents and six AI questions per day. Pro includes unlimited animal profiles and AI questions under the plan. A question means each message sent to an AI agent, including follow-ups. Daily allowances are shared across agents and devices and reset at midnight UTC. Failed AI responses do not use the allowance. Studio and care-calendar tools are included in every plan. Normal technical limits and service availability still apply.
Payment and renewal
Starter has a US reference price of $6.99 per month and Pro $9.99 per month. Your store shows the actual local price, taxes, billing period and any plan-change details before you confirm. Paid subscriptions renew automatically through Apple or Google until cancelled. No free trial is included. Manage or cancel renewal in the store’s subscription settings. Cancellation normally leaves access active until the paid period ends; refunds and billing disputes follow the store’s applicable policies and your statutory rights.
Changes, downgrade and deletion
You can restore eligible purchases through the app. Continue using the same Kindred account. After a downgrade, existing animal records are retained, but adding animals and AI access follow the current plan. You can delete the Kindred account from Profile or request deletion through the website. Deletion does not cancel billing with Apple or Google and may remove access to data needed to restore the same account. Cancel renewal separately first if you wish to stop payments.
Availability and fair use
We work to keep Kindred available, but network access, device features, third-party services and maintenance can affect it. We may restrict abusive or unlawful use and make reasonable changes to the service. Material subscription changes will be communicated as required by the store and applicable law. Nothing here excludes consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

The Kindred privacy policy explains account data, photos, AI processing, purchases, safety reports and deletion. For support, privacy requests or a concern about AI content, contact info@pixelcrowstudios.net. You can also flag AI responses directly in the app.
